This is the best meme I have seen going around, as it gets to the heart of our very existence: Jesus. The are so many reasons to love Him, and I admire the way so many who have completed this meme have backed up their feelings with scripture.
I'm not going to do that today. I will simply list in random order some reasons why I love Jesus, reasons that cause my heart to swell with love, reasons that if put on the spot in conversation I might list. So please forgive me if they lack theological clarity or scriptural support!
I love Jesus because He first loved me. He loved me when I was unlovable and ugly. He had compassion on me and reached down and touched me. Not only has He loved me in my unlovable state, but He washed me, clothed me, and is making me into an object of beauty for His glory. Someone who is lovable.
I love Jesus because He has been faithful. He has been the friend that sticks closer than a brother. He has been the faithful husband who continued to love and pursue me despite my adulterous ways.
I love Jesus because He has given me a future and a hope. There have been days and seasons where I have despaired of life and found my circumstances overwhelming, He has been that ray of light that shone through the darkness, lifted me up and sustained me.
I love Jesus because He has given me a family. Because of Him I am now a daughter of the King. I belong to His church, a family of believers. My mother and my father, my brothers and my sisters can all be found within the church. The breakdown of my natural family has not left me an orphan with no one to count on. He has provided.
I love Jesus because He rescued me. I was bound by sin and powerless to defeat it, I was dead in sin and unable to take a breath. He fought the battle no man could fight, and arose victorious over death and sin. He loosed the chains that bound me, and breathed new life into my soul. He is the Hero of heroes, King of kings, Lord of lords!
One day I will see my King, my Hero, my Friend, my Lover face to face and fall in love with Him for His beauty. For now, all I can see is what He has done. There is nothing I have done nor can offer Him and yet, when I meet Him he will set a crown upon my head. I can't wait for the moment I can lay it down at His feet. Even in His goodness to us, He gives us something to give back!

Great list. I didn't include the scripture references for my list either. Didn't feel the need too:o)
