Yesterday marked the first day of school for my two older children. So far, so good. I am hoping to get a good six weeks in before the new baby arrives; this way I can take things easy in October while recovering from the c-section and adjusting to life with four children. I have a sneaking suspicion though, that managing school and my 18 month old will be more challenging than adjusting to the baby, as he is likely to grow out of one of his two daily naps sometime soon.
Here is a little peek at some of the materials we will be using for this year:

Looks like fun! That's a great idea to take photo's of the books themselves. Hope you have a productive week.
We are easing into our school. We are doing our morning routine, chores and memory time. Then finishing up socials PLO's and doing Language review. We will hopefully add one more thing next week. Then first week of September be full on.

You sound like my sister! She is having baby #4 in October and has a 17 mo. old, Kindergarten and 2nd grader. She is trying to get a lot done in the next 7 weeks before baby (her first boy) comes.
I know the man who wrote Journey through the Bible. My husband care takes for their house in the Adirondacks. He is a wonderful man and gives us books all the time!
Hope you get a lot done in the next few weeks!
