There is a whole generation of people who were adopted that have grown up and are now pondering the reality that their mothers could have legally chosen to have an abortion. They are speaking out. Some of them are household names - who has not heard of DMC or Sarah McLachlan? Both were adopted and have collaborated on this song speaking of the potential that existed when their mothers gave them the chance to live. It's a powerful message.
